The MX100 is supported until Feb 1, 2027, so a renewal that runs to that date is ordinary. Per Cisco Meraki's EOL policy, if a legacy device can no longer connect after end-of-support, Cisco's stated remedy is best efforts toward an upgrade path or a prorated credit of the remaining license term — so time bought past that date is covered by policy, not stranded. For a long term it is still worth pricing the replacement alongside.
